How to start your online writing journey

1/ Go Broad

Many writers would say you should stick to a niche but I disagree, I think when you’re starting out as a writer it’s important to explore different areas and get a feel for what you like to write.

So try writing about different topics, in different styles and formats and see what feels natural to you. Once you’ve found a niche or two that you really enjoy writing in then you can focus on

2/ Publishing Platform

Publishing on Medium or Twitter is a good idea than a blog.

They already have an audience to spread your word out.

3/ Find Your Voice

Your voice is what makes you unique as a writer, so it’s important to find it and develop it.

It can take some time to find your voice but once you do, it will be easier to write in a style that is distinctly yours

4/ Get Inspired

Read other writers’ work, find out what you like about it and try to incorporate some of those elements into your own writing.

Of course, don’t copy other

5/ Start writing, and don’t stop!

No need to overthink it, just start writing and see where it takes you. The more you write, the better you’ll get at it.

Don’t worry about making mistakes, everyone makes them, including famous writers. Just keep writing and learning from your mistakes, and eventually, you’ll become the writer you
